Funny thing about it is that it is not marketed as such. This is neither an old wive’s tale or an urban myth. It sounds gross, but I swear this is the absolute truth.
You know those puffy bags under the eyes that we tend to get as we age? Just the other day a respected plastic surgeon right here in Boulder told me what to use to lessen the inflammation.
Now, every major cosmetics brand carries some sort of cream, lotion, or gel that claims to alleviate puffiness around the eyes. And all over the globe, women gladly shell out millions of dollars each year in hopes that they will look years younger within days or weeks. But – surprise – even after applying makeup, there’s no difference!
Unfortunately there is NO SUCH THING as a facelift in a jar. The only thing that comes close is doctor prescribed Renova. It is a retinoid cream that you use at night. You must start off with a tube of very mild solution, like 0.02%, then after six months or so increase to 0.05%, then after another six months, increase to 0.1% solution.
That’s not an instant solution. It takes a lot of time and has to be applied correctly and diligently. Also, while on Renova, you must keep sun exposure to an absolute minimum.

WOW! How are you supposed to apply the Preparation H? Close to the eye or around the orbit of the eye? I’m going to make a real effort to read your blog regularly. Is there a way to contact me if there is something new? How does this blogging thing work?
